Your GROWLR Features

Once you download GROWLR, an exciting world of new contacts and possibilities opens on this gay app for Android device users. In addition to meeting new friends, potential dates, love interests and more, you can also swap pics, send instant messages, find local events and bars, and more.



Here is a closer look at the features you will find on the Android app:

Bears: Under the three-bear icon, you can find GROWLR users online from around the world, in your area and on your own "Favorites" list.


Messages: Clicking the word balloon icon opens your messages inbox, where you will find all your chats with other users on the app.


Viewers: See who has been checking out your profile by clicking the third icon on the list, which appears as a bear with a magnifying glass. 


Search:  Clicking this icon will enable you to seek out members by using as much or as little criteria as you would like including, but not limited to, location, name, description, and email.


Checkins: Share your current location and find nearby guys when you use the Checkin feature.


Events: Need something to do? Check out bear events in your area when you checkout the GROWLR calendar of events using the center icon.


Bars: Click the drinks icon to find local bear bars in your area where you can find guys similar to those on the app.


Profile: Create your new GROWLR profile, and start meeting new friends now.


SHOUT!: Broadcast a message to people within a 5, 10 and 20-mile radius using this premium feature using the starburst icon, as illustrated above.
